Farm St. Blaize is owned and operated by Cobus and Angie van der Merwe and is situated 30km South East of the town of Gobabis on the Eastern border of Namibia. We are a 5th generation farming operation combining traditional country values with cutting edge technology and modern farming practices. Our core business is the breeding of genetically superior Brahman and Sussex stud cattle for the domestic and international markets. As producers of genetic seed stock we believe that the truest measure of our success lies in the satisfaction of our customers. In buying a St. Blaize bull our buyers are assured of getting a quality product backed by over 40 years of breeding and performance testing resulting in predictable genetic performance.

St. Blaize cattle have been sold to throughout Africa including Angola, Botswana, Ghana, South-Africa and Zambia and three African Heads of State are proud owners of St. Blaize cattle. At our 2012 annual production sale we will reach the milestone of having sold one thousand bulls throughout Africa.

We also breed registered American Saddlebred and Friesian Horses for showing and African plains game for trophy hunting.
